Curiosity

The irrepressible desire to understand — to find the world genuinely, persistently interesting and to pursue understanding not because it is required but because one cannot help it. Curiosity is the engine that makes every capacity operational. Without it, all seven capacities are tools sitting in a drawer, never picked up voluntarily.
