Two distinct tracks: the Applied Challenge Track targets urgent, measurable national problems with binary success criteria — reduce post-harvest grain loss by 40%, build a low-cost water quality sensor. The Frontier Challenge Track supports deep intellectual inquiry with no immediate commercial application, judged on rigour, novelty, and contribution to knowledge. The prize is not the mission. It is the proof of concept — the demonstration that Pakistani intellectual capacity, properly organised and properly supported, produces work of genuine consequence.
