The understanding that capability creates obligation — that the purpose of developing oneself is not self-advancement but contribution to something larger. Without it, the entire project of intellectual sovereignty degenerates into producing a new, smarter extractive elite. This is Khudi without purpose, power without service.
Without It
The person is brilliant, curious, resilient, empathetic, humble, articulate, and physically disciplined — and entirely self-serving. They become a more capable version of the extractive elite the Manifesto diagnoses as Pakistan's core problem.
